This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application btaMOBILE (the "App"). The protection and security of personal data and the preservation of users' privacy are of particular importance to us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data may be processed when using btaMOBILE, for what purposes such data is processed, and what rights users have in relation to their personal data.
btaMOBILE provides travel-related information and services in connection with bta first travel. Technical services relating to the operation of the App are provided by TouristMobile GmbH.

TouristMobile GmbH ("TM") processes personal data, where required and permitted, for the purpose of providing and operating btaMOBILE and the services made available through the App. Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Personal and account data (such as first name, last name, telephone number, e-mail address, user name and authentication information)

Personal data processed through btaMOBILE is used only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, for agreed services, for legal obligations, or for legitimate purposes permitted by applicable law. TM does not otherwise sell or commercially market personal data without the user's consent.
Personal data may in particular be used for the following purposes:
To provide, operate, host, manage and improve btaMOBILE and related services.
To create, display and manage travel itineraries and travel-related information.
To provide customer support and process questions, comments or requests.
To authenticate users and protect user accounts.

Processing, use and storage of personal data takes place on systems operated by TM and, where necessary for the respective service, by contracted service providers.
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy or as required under applicable statutory retention obligations.
Where legally applicable, users may request correction, deletion, restriction of processing or data portability. Backup copies required to ensure proper data processing and compliance with legal obligations may remain stored for the applicable retention period.
Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of personal information has high priority. TM therefore implements appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. Nevertheless, no electronic data transmission or data storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
In the course of providing btaMOBILE and related travel services, personal data may be made available to recipients only where this is necessary for the requested service, the fulfilment of contractual or legal obligations, the protection of legitimate interests, or where the user has given consent.
Service providers that support the technical operation of btaMOBILE.
The company or organization at which the user is employed, where applicable and required for the relevant travel service.
Travel agencies, tour operators and travel service providers involved in a user's booking or itinerary.
Airlines, rail operators, hotels, transport providers, insurers and other providers where necessary for the requested travel service.
Authorities or other third parties where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
Other recipients where the user has given consent.
TM does not sell personal information to third-party companies for commercial or marketing purposes without the user's consent.
Some services within btaMOBILE may contain links to websites or services of third parties. The privacy policies of those third parties apply to their own processing activities.
Where personal data is processed in connection with travel arrangements, bookings or travel services provided through bta first travel, the applicable BTA data protection information applies in addition to this Privacy Policy.

Personal information received through websites or applications in connection with btaMOBILE is processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the BTA data protection information linked above.
btaMOBILE may process statistical and technical information relating to App usage, device and App information, and technical error or crash information where necessary to maintain, secure and improve the service.
Tracking, analytics or similar technologies, if used, are subject to the applicable legal requirements and the information provided through the relevant service or consent mechanism.
Subject to applicable data protection law, users may have the following rights in relation to their personal data:
The right to obtain information about personal data being processed.
The right to request rectification of inaccurate personal data.
The right to request deletion of personal data where the legal requirements are met.
The right to request restriction of processing where applicable.
The right to object to certain processing activities where applicable.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the functionality of btaMOBILE, applicable legal requirements or the processing of personal data changes. The current version will be made available through the App and/or the associated website. Where a change requires consent, consent will be obtained where required by law.
If this Privacy Policy is made available in more than one language and differences arise between translations, the version designated as authoritative by the respective provider shall apply, subject to mandatory applicable law.
